Wow! We can’t believe it! This is the last Sunday that Carmen will be with us! The time has gone so fast! We don’t have any pictures today because we really didn’t do much outside of going to church. As usual, I got up early for all my early morning meetings. Everyone else got up later, had breakfast and then came to church.
Today was a special day at church. Brittany played a violin duet with Bryson Tanner (the young man who is giving her violin lessons). They did a phenomenal job! Angela also participated today by being the final speaker. The topic of the meeting was about the value of music both in our worship services and in our lives. Angela spoke about music in our daily lives and how it can help us become better. She did a fantastic job.
After Sacrament Meeting, Zachary was assigned to give the opening scripture and prayer in Primary. Carmen and Marta went in with us to listen to him. He was so cute and made everyone smile. He is becoming quite the reader. We didn’t have to help him at all.
After church, we all had a small snack for lunch and rested for the remainder of the afternoon. We played Wii, checked e-mail, etc. until it was time for dinner. We had a great dinner (thanks to Angela) of spaghetti and meatballs, salad, and zucchini from our garden.
After dinner, we relaxed some more, played some more Wii, and Carmen and Marta watched a Spanish TV program on the Internet. We also got Skype set up here so that we can call back and forth with Carmen and the family after she gets home.
At 10:00 tonight, Sarah arrived back home from EFY in Utah. It was great to see her. We really missed her while she was gone. She had a lot to talk about and has a ton of pictures. We’ll have to post some on the blog as soon as we can. She had a GREAT time.
