kirstyn-statefairKirstyn participated in the 4th Grade State Fair at Gombert Elementary last night. She sang in a chorus, and had a speaking part on the program, part of which was leading the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance. After the program, we went into the library where they had all the kids state floats set up. They make these out of shoe boxes and each child is assigned a state. Kirstyn’s state was Idaho. Her float turned out VERY cool! She even had a picture of her mom on it along with Philo T. Farnsworth, Gutzon Borglum, and other famous Idahoans. Way to go Kirstyn! Still Middle School fiddle group also played as part of the program but Brittany was sick and couldn’t make it. We would have loved to see her play!
