Tonight I had to go to the Blue and Gold Banquet for our Cub Scout Pack.  Zach really wanted to come with also, and Brittany was invited to go and do face painting.  As I was getting ready to go and was buttoning-up my scout shirt, Zachary saw my old scout shirt from when I was 13 hanging in the closet.  He begged and begged to wear it, so we gave in.  We had to roll up the sleeves 2 or 3 times, but we finally made it look presentable on him!  🙂  He as walking around the house proud as can be!  He really wants to be a scout and is excited that he can do that in just 2 1/2 years!  He can’t wait!

We had a great time there.  We had pizza, all kinds of salads, and the kids all brought decorated cupcakes that were judged.  Brittany had a blast face painting (they had carnival-type games and such after the dinner) and as things were winding down, she let her face be painted!  You should have seen the look on Angela’s face when Brittany walked in the door!

We had a good laugh, and Brittany had to work hard to scrub it off!  🙂
